How to play speed.

WALT write Explanations

Write an explanation of how the game of Speed is played

First you have to make 2 piles of 5 cards and then in the center put 2 more
piles but with 1 card each. Then make one pile with
20 cards for one person and the rest of the cards for the
second person.You have to put the cards in order
but you can do the cards backwards or forwards. 
You have to get all the cards out
of your hands first and then say speed and you win!

Training with the Warriors

Yesterday afternoon the Warriors
came to Glen Innes school
and some of the school got to see them.
All the people including going to sports camp, including me got to see them
along with some very lucky people like Cordell,
my best friend and others.
I really wanted to meet some pro sports people
so it was my lucky day! There were 3 people
from the team and 2 other people
but I don't know their job.
The training time was really fun
and we played a game called kick tennis
where you have two teams
and one team kicks the ball to the other team
and then they have to catch it
when the other team kicks the ball back.
We also did some training and there were 4 bags
to run into and the 3rd players,
and mr held the bags and we ran at the bags.
We also played a game where there were 3 actions
and we were put into teams of 2
and we had to not be the last to do the actions
and we nearly won! Cordell and I had a loads of fun
and I got a rugby ball
signed by all the people in the team
for being one of the at best training
there were 2 more balls awarded to other people.

I really hate rainy days

I hate rainy days. I hate rainy days because we can not go outside to play at morning tea and lunchtime. Rainy days are not nice because even when the rain stops the ground and playing equipment is all wet. I really Hate rainy days because I am a very sporty person and I do not like staying still for very long. I really wish rainy days only happen once every year.

My holiday

I had a load of fun during the holidays
and these are some of the things I did
and  I cannot wait for the next holiday.

Going to jump was one of the most fun days of the holidays. I really like going to jump because they have a dodgeball court and I really like playing dodgeball. My sister was trying to catch me because we were playing tag. It was really fun because we were on trampolines and we could go super fast! Me and my sister had a load of fun but we were really tired but we can't wait to go again.

I don't like going to school! It is six hours of learning stuff like spelling and writing witch I really don’t like. We could be spending 6 hours playing outside or playing with something. We could be at our friends house. I love the weekends and holidays but dred school days unless it is the last day of school of a trip day.

I loved going to  the movies. My sister, mum and I went to the movies to see Secret Life of Pets 2 and it was an awesome movie. In the movie there was a lot of funny parts.
It was a great movie and I can't wait to go to the movies again. 


Why I love building stuff with wood. First I can make a lode of stuff and I have made a model trimaran with my dad. I is really fun making stuff  with wood and my sister and I have our very own bench to work on. I have built a tool box and a trimaran. My dad has a lot of tools so I have a lot of different tools to work with, so if I don't want to use a power tool instead I can use a hand tool. Making things with tools is a lot of fun but it is a bit dangerous.

My first 6 months in room 11

My first 6 months in room 11

                               Term 1

This is the first day of school a look at all the grumpy faces that school has started. The first big event is swimming which is always done in the first term of school. I am very good at swimming  because I swim 2 times a week. After about 7 weeks we hold a big swimming competition and the whole senior side is crammed into the small space around the pool. We do stages, first freestyle then backstroke after that we do breaststroke and finally butterfly. I entered all events and won all my events.

                                  Term 2

In the next term we had lots of trips and they were really fun. There was sailing, cycling, botanic gardens and buddest temple and there were events held at school like culture festival, jelly beans music, sports camp and homework club. Every morning before class room 11 plays a game called bullrush. My favorite trip was sailing because I love the water and most of my family dose too. First we had some morning tea then we got the boats ready to sail and then we put them in the water. My sailing buddy was baker and we were really fast chasing the instructor on the motor boat. It was difficult trying to catch up to him because whenever baker and I got near him he would motor to the other side of the bay. Baker and I where really annoyed whenever he motored away from us. Baker and I were the fastest out of all the people in our class and the other class. Recently we had a big art day and every class had to make some art even room 1! Room 11 did tiles and canvas and the tiles were going on the wall of the school but we could take the canvas home.

Camping

One day my family decided to go camping. We packed the truck and set out on the road. It was difficult to find the campsite because it was concealed from the road. We set up camp and went for a walk that's when we saw an absurd tent. The tent was made of metal and it was all rusty and it had some holes in it. There was a small kid playing outside the metal tent and he looked lonely so I went over to play tag with him. We played for a while then he had to go in the metal tent for lunch. I was a bit nervous because I couldn't quite remember where my tent was. I ran around the park looking for my family. Sundly I ran around a bend and ran into the big tent that my mom and dad where in. I ran inside and asked mum were she and dad had been? They went back to the tent to make lunch. It was not the best lunch because we did not have a stove to cook on so we had to use the small cooker. After lunch I went back to play with the little kid that I was playing with before. I saw that they had left and I went back home mourned the loss of my only friend. For the rest of the weekend I was sad and all I did was eat, sleep and play video games all day.
