Wharepuni / My house

- A wharepuni has 1 room but my house has lots of rooms.
- There were sometimes sculptures outside the wharepuri.
Day 2 Activity 2
When I'm older... I want to be a farmer because you get to have a lot of space to have animals and crops. I would grow wheat to make bread and sweetcorn because it is yummy. I would have sheep, cows and pigs. I would need a horse to ride around the farm on. My tractor would be green.

Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! Great to see that you have been working on these activities. Well done.
Activity 1: Good work! I can see that you've thought about differences and similarities that your house and a wharepuni might have. The statues that are outside the wharepuni are called carvings. Why do you think wharepuni's have lots of carvings on them?
Activity 2: What a great picture! I like how you have drawn it by hand and attached a photo of that drawing. Being a farmer would be a lot of fun! What do you think would be the best part of being a farmer?
