Week 1 Day 5 Activity 3

🌎           Toby's Summer Learning Journey    🌎

Bill Kini won a gold medal for New Zealand at the 1966 Commonwealth Games in heavyweight boxing. He also played rugby in Ōtāhuhu in the 1960s and captained the Auckland Maori rugby team.

If I could ask Bill 4 questions I would want to know -

1) How many medals or belts did you win in your career?

2) Which sport did you like better - boxing or rugby and why?

3) Did you have to follow a special diet?

4) What was your greatest sporting achievement? Was it in boxing or rugby?

Hi Toby!

My name is Ellee, I am another part of the Summer Learning Journey Crew that is commenting on your blogs this summer.
Looks like you have been super busy completing your activities this summer, awesome work!

I really enjoyed reading through your questions for Bill Kini - I think I would be interested to find out the answer to your last question!

I think I would like to ask Bill if he could pick anyone throughout history, which heavyweight boxer would he like to fight if he could?
I think there have been some amazing heavyweights throughout boxing so I would be intrigued as to who he would pick!

Do you like to watch boxing or rugby at all? Which would you prefer to participate in?

Keep up the great work with your blog Toby, it's looking awesome!

Ellee :)
