Day 3
Everyone’s family is unique. What makes your family special?
The three people I chose were:
Michael - my cousin who is visiting from England.
Mahala - my cousin who is visiting from England, Michael's sister.
My dad - Nick who works at Chelsea Sugar Factory
This summer Michael has really enjoyed playing at Cave Rock in Sumner and spending time with his family.
Did you know Michael does Latin and French at school?
Mahala likes riding her horse down to the stream to keep cool in the summer. She also likes bathing Magic with the hose.
Did you know Mahala has a horse and a cat called Magic? I hope Mahala doesn't get muddled up and start riding Magic the cat! Mahala also has lots of 'a's in her name - 3 to be precise!
Dad likes looking after his tomatoes in the summer. He also likes spending time with his family. Did you know my dad has 2 boats? One is a sail boat and the other one has an engine. I like the motor boat best because it goes faster and is more fun. You can also go fishing on it, it has 5 fishing rod holders all around the boat.

I loved reading your post about your family. That’s so exciting your cousins have come to stay!! That makes these holidays very special for you! Wow it sounds like your family has been doing some really fun and extreme sports this summer.
My family has a boat that we all enjoy going on too! We do lots of fishing and when the water is nice and smooth we get out our water biscuit and go sliding across the water! So much fun! What sports do you get to do on your boat? Skiing? Wakeboarding? Knee boarding?
